THE PRODUCTION

After winning the International Playwriting Festival in 2000 Knock Down Ginger opened the Premio Candoni Arte Terme Festival in Urbino, Italy in 2002. A production followed at the Warehouse Theatre in 2003.

Brilliantly directed by Jeffery Kissoon and boasting a stellar cast including former Eastenders actors' Sylvester Williams and Judith Jacob, experienced actor William Maxwell, newcomer Darren Machin and local teen actor Troy Glasgow making his theatre debut the production seethed with talent.

The production received excellent notices and picked up a Croydon Guardian Award as well as a CRE Race in the Media Award nomination.
